The day began with the bride’s preparations at the luxurious Villa Lucia, a stunning 12-bedroom retreat overlooking the breathtaking lake. Georgina, radiant in her Berta gown and Christian Louboutins, embodied elegance as she readied herself for the momentous occasion. Meanwhile, the groomsmen enjoyed panoramic balcony views at the prestigious Grand Hotel Tremezzo, their powder blue suits adding a touch of chic sophistication to the scene.
True to Lake Como’s capricious nature, the weather proved unpredictable. As the couple embarked on their boat ride to the legendary Villa del Balbianello, skies alternated between sun and clouds. Fortune smiled upon the newlyweds-to-be, as the weather cleared just in time for their ceremony. Under the villa’s beautiful arches, with the stunning backdrop of Lenno and Bellagio in the distance, James and Georgina exchanged vows in an emotionally charged ceremony that left not a dry eye among their guests. The celebration continued with a sun-drenched drinks reception, while the newly married couple stole away for a private boat ride, savoring their first moments as husband and wife. They rejoined their guests for a joyous and laughter-filled wedding breakfast. As evening fell, the party moved under the stars. Guests danced the night away, pausing only for the ceremonial cutting of the cake.
